I am Christian, CEO of Freightek LLC in Texas, US.
We know you may be wondering why and how we built the Freightek platform for freight forwarders/logistics companies, so we wanted to share our story.

As you know, logistics, especially freight, is a trillion-dollar industry, and we aspire to be a part of it. However, with over 15 years of experience in Logistics and Freight Forwarding, we understand that many forwarders struggle to upgrade their organization and grow their business.
Seven years ago, When I worked for a logistics company, I realized that the company could not effectively manage the business and team with the tools the company had.
We used one freight forwarding software for exporting/importing documents, Google Drive to store files and images, and Skype and emails for team communication.
We tried to make our team collaboration as efficient as possible but ended up with vital information spread all over the place. This disorganization caused a lot of stress and hurt our company's growth.
Then I asked myself and my team why we couldn't do what companies in other industries were doing.
I wanted to innovate our current company, and we asked ourselves many questions. How could we do business online? How could we transform all of our activities to the cloud? How could we automate processes to provide services to clients consistently? How could we scale our business as Amazon or Alibaba without the time and location limitations?
After much deliberation, I realized that building a digital platform was essential. I quit my job and built a team to realize our vision. We wanted to help freight forwarders transform everything to digital, automate complex processes, and scale up their business quickly.
This is why Freightek was established and does everything you see Here and Now.
In the first period, we spent thousands of hours researching companies that provided solutions in the industry. We found that Cargowise, Oracle, and Logi-sys had done an excellent job, but their solutions were complicated, and they were not workable for small and mid-sized forwarders who could not afford the deployment costs.
